Something in common

If you have a big company, school, or organisation with several departments or groups, you can use this activity to promote inter-sectional communication between all participants.

You can choose the length of the activity and use it with the most diverse groups.

Materials

  • Pen and paper

  • Large room

Instructions:

Give everyone 10 – 30 minutes (depending on number of participants) and tell them:

  1. “You must talk to as many people as possible in the next XX minutes and find at least one different thing in common with each one of them.

  2. Write it down in the piece of paper.

  3. You can choose to find a more banal common interest, but we encourage you to take a moment to talk to the other person and find something that requires more that 5 seconds of conversation.”
